Street Cat, Arcos de la Frontera, Andalucia, Spain

Do cats mind if the neighbor’s four-legged friend has a bigger food bowl than they do? Are they put off by scary stories about climbing up a Christmas tree?

To say that external expectations play a major role in their behavior would be a bit of a stretch. Cats go about their business largely unencumbered by such considerations, don’t they? They just seem to follow their natural inclinations. When they are tired, they rest. When they have energy, they play. When they are hungry, they hunt.
